School Counselor and Social Worker

School Counselor
School Counseling Corner

Welcome to our school counseling page!
As your school counselor, I will be working to support all students in their academic, career, and social-emotional growth throughout their time at Red Cedar Elementary School!
I will connect with students through individual, small group counseling and classroom guidance lessons. Our monthly classroom guidance lessons are delivered to K-5th graders, addressing the South Carolina Comprehensive Guidance plan's focus areas: Learning to Live (social/emotional development), Learning to Work (career development), and Learning to Learn (academic development).
Parents and guardians, please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss any personal concerns that may be affecting a student’s ability to focus and thrive at school. I can provide individual support as needed or even include your student in a small group session that focuses on further developing their coping strategies and/or problem-solving skills.
Please find my contact information below (although I always welcome an opportunity to meet you in person!)
