Mrs. Cummings' Personal Message
I am a fun loving educator with a passion to make a difference in the lives of children!
I was born in the country of Belize, Central America. I moved to Chicago, Illinois at age 18 years and made the "Windy City" my home until June 2010. For the past seven years, the Low Country has been home to my husband, myself, and our beloved dog Lovie. Together we have five children and several (bonus) grandchildren who reside in Chicago.
In 2008, I began my studies in education at National Louis University, Chicago and continued at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education in 2013. I’ve been teaching in Beaufort Country School District for 2 years and I am excited to once again call Red Cedar my home! I am a Highly Qualified K/1 teacher with over eight years of teaching experience, in several educational institutions.
I enjoy going to the beach with my family, bowling, and gardening.
My favorite quote - “If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude." ~ Maya Angelou

Mrs. Viskovich"s Personal Message
My family and I live in Bluffton since 2008. We are originally from Pennsylvania. My husband and I have three adult children and two dogs. During my free time, I love to appreciate the beautiful nature of the Low country by exploring the wildlife parks, beaches, and walking trails. I enjoy riding my orange bicycle and reading historic romance novels.
I have been at Red Cedar since the school opened in 2009. I have been a teacher for 20 years and have taught kindergarten, first and second grades in both public and parochial schools.
